This shoe is designed with comfort and support in mind, and Asics have spent hours testing it at their Institute of Sport Science (ISS) in Japan. The GT-2000™ 13 running shoe includes additional technical features to support you during your runs, which you’ll find listed below.

Pronation: Designed For Overpronation
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.
3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM technology: Consists of three distinct components designed to provide extra stability by guiding the foot in a natural way.
PureGEL technology: Improves softness and shock absorption to reduce impact.
FF BLAST PLUS technology: Provides lightweight, premium cushioning for added comfort.
Engineered mesh upper: Helps improve breathability and comfort.
AHARPLUS heel plug rubber: Helps improve durability.
AHAR LOW HARDNESS outsole material: Enhances resistance against wear and tear.
OrthoLite X-30 sockliner: Provides soft step-in comfort.
Small reflective details: Helps improve visibility during low-light conditions.
Designed with the environment in mind: At least 61% of the shoe’s upper is recycled. We've also used less water and reduced our carbon emissions while producing the shoe’s sockliner, and the insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials.
