The GEL-CUMULUS™ 26 running shoe is a great choice if you want a shoe with extra cushioning. The lightest and most cushioned GEL-CUMULUS™ shoe yet, its comfort will put your mind at ease during your run. The shoe's PureGEL™ technology improves softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints. Asics have updated the midsole design by combining their FF BLAST™ PLUS foam with a FluidRide™ outsole to give you added comfort during your run.

Features

Pronation: Designed For Neutral / Underpronation

Neutral: See left image.
Foot Type: High arches
Push Off: The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Underpronation: See right image.
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.
Internalised PureGEL™ technology improves softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints.
More FF BLAST™ PLUS foam creates a softer and more comfortable running experience.
FluidRide™ outsole is lightweight and ensures smoother transitions for your added comfort.
Engineered mesh upper: Helps improve breathability and comfort
OrthoLite X-30 sockliner: Provides soft step-in comfort.
Designed with the environment in mind: At least 75% of its primary upper consists of recycled materials. We've also used less water and carbon emissions to produce the shoe’s sockliner. Better for you, better for the environment.
