The shoe’s Rearfoot GEL™ technology improves comfort by providing impact absorption to reduce stress on your joints during your run. And its FLYTEFOAM™ midsole provides good shock absorption for a comfortable, cushioned running experience. Plus, its breathable upper is lightweight and helps keep your feet cool during runs for added comfort.

Features

Pronation: Designed For Neutral / Underpronation

Neutral: See left image.
Foot Type: High arches
Push Off: The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Underpronation: See right image.
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.
Rearfoot GEL technology: Improves softness and shock absorption to reduce impact.
FLYTEFOAM cushioning: Helps create a lightweight and comfortable feel.
Engineered mesh upper: Helps improve breathability to keep feet cool during runs for added comfort.
ORTHOLITE HYBRID MAXLITE sockliner: Provides step-in comfort and helps keep feet dry by controlling moisture.
AHARPLUS heel plug rubber: Helps improve durability.
Designed with the environment in mind: Asics made the shoe’s upper with recycled plastic, and they’ve used less water and reduced their carbon emissions while producing the shoe’s sock liner. Better for you, better for the environment.
