Description Technical Specs

Asics GEL-CUMULUS 26 Women's Road Running Shoe. (Black/Safety Yellow)
The GEL-CUMULUS™ 26 running shoe is a great choice if you want a shoe with extra cushioning. Asics lightest and most cushioned GEL-CUMULUS™ shoe yet, its comfort will put your mind at ease during your run.
The shoe's PureGEL™ technology improves softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints. Asics have updated the midsole design by combining our FF BLAST™ PLUS foam with a FluidRide™ outsole to give you added comfort during your run.

What makes GEL-CUMULUS™ 26 running shoe comfortable?
Internalised PureGEL™ technology improves softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints.
More FF BLAST™ PLUS foam creates a softer and more comfortable running experience.
FluidRide™ outsole is lightweight and ensures smoother transitions for your added comfort.

What else makes the GEL-CUMULUS™ 26 shoe a great choice?
This shoe is designed with comfort in mind, and Asics have spent hours testing it at our Institute of Sport Science (ISS) in Japan. The GEL-CUMULUS™ 26 running shoe includes additional technical features to support you during your runs, which you’ll find listed under below.
Features
  • Pronation: Designed For Neutral / Underpronation

    Neutral: See left image.
    Foot Type: High arches
Push Off: The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
How your foot contacts the ground: The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

    Underpronation: See right image.
Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet
Push Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
How your foot contacts the ground: The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

PureGEL technology: Improves softness and shock absorption to reduce impact.
  • FF BLAST PLUS technology: Provides lightweight, premium cushioning for added comfort.
  • FluidRide outsole: Provides added comfort and smoother transitions, thanks to its lightweight design.
  • Engineered mesh upper: Helps improve breathability and comfort
  • OrthoLite X-30 sockliner: Provides soft step-in comfort.
  • Designed with the environment in mind: 100% of the shoe’s upper is recycled. Asics have also used less water and reduced their carbon emissions while producing the shoe’s sockliner, and the insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials.
